A Ayurvedic hair-care brand using content and community engagement to deepen category authority.
The hair-care brand was competing in a hair-care category dominated by digitally mature players with a much deeper existing footprint, and its own website was starting from close to zero organic visibility — with almost no rankings for the generic, non-branded searches that category itself already owned.
An eleven-month advanced SEO programme combining technical fixes (crawl-error monitoring, duplicate-content and broken-link checks), on-page optimization across meta titles and descriptions, and a structured content and authority-building track — including a full roadmap of generic, non-branded hair-care topics mapped to real search-volume data, giving the brand a clear path to capture demand beyond its own name.
Priority keyword rankings moved from a standing start — zero ranking anywhere — to 31% now landing on page one, with 35% reaching the top 30 and 36% the top 50. A genuinely generic, category-level term like "bringha oil" — not just a branded search — moved from unranked to the first page of Google, and the site's referring-domain and backlink profile grew steadily from a near-zero base over the same period. Just as important, the content and authority-building work laid a fully mapped-out roadmap of generic, high-volume hair-care topics — terms like "regrow hair oil" and "natural hair regrowth" among them — the next phase for turning category-wide search demand into brand discovery. That roadmap was ready to go; the pace from here depended on the client supplying the blog content and creative assets to fill it, and with fuller support on that front, these numbers had real room to climb further still.
